Apple Old Fashioned Recipe (Zero Proof)
What is an Apple Old Fashioned?
It is a drink that’s perfect for young, old, and everyone in between. Plus, it pairs well with flannel and bonfires. What could be better?
For our money, nothing tastes like Fall more than fresh, unfiltered cider from the orchard. Next time you go apple picking, make sure you come home with a gallon (or three) of their cider. (Or, if you can’t make it to an orchard, this will do in a pinch!)
While the Wisconsin Old Fashioned is made with brandy or bourbon, Miss Mary’s APPLE OLD FASHIONED is deliciously zero proof.
Miss Mary’s Old Fashioned Mix is a clean label, non-alcoholic mix that is ready to pour. We believe that beverages should take longer to drink than to make.
- 1 part Apple Cider
- 1 part Miss Mary’s Old Fashioned Mix
- Optional Garnish: Diced Apples, Dash of Clove, Orange Slice, Cinnamon Stick
Combine ingredients in a low ball glass with ice. Garnish creatively!
APPLE OLD FASHIONED RECIPE VARIATIONS
If the temperatures are chilly, why not serve Hot Apple Old Fashioneds? This recipe is perfect for crisp, Fall gatherings or a cozy night at home.
To make a large batch, pour equal amounts of Cider and Miss Mary’s Old Fashioned Mix into a large pot. Add spiced oranges and cinnamon sticks to taste. Heat on the stove until simmering, then transfer to an airpot for easy pouring. You can create a little self-service station with mugs and apple garnishes.
We also love this made with Spiced Cider.
