While I love black coffee in the morning, I enjoy a coffee treat a few times a week in the afternoon. I have struggled to find an enjoyable syrup that is friendly to a low-carb diet, not full of sugar, and doesn't have an aftertaste. Because of this, typically the afternoon treat only happens when I am out and about to get to a local coffee establishment that has something that works for my taste and needs. Now, however, because of this delicious new syrup, I don't need to spend my money on expensive coffees at coffee shops, and can enjoy a yummy coffee treat at home anytime! I mixed the syrup with a small amount of milk and enjoyed the taste of fresh gingerbread with scrumptious caramel and absolutely no aftertaste! I’ve had lots of syrups, some full sugar, some claiming to be cleaner, and they seem to taste off. I’ve ruined perfectly good cups of coffee plenty of times. This one was different - they nailed the salted caramel flavor - not super strong on the gingerbread (which is perfect by me), and it was blissful in my black cup of coffee! I also suffer from some gut issues and this didn’t give me the nasty bloat that sugary things can do. I actually felt great! I’ll be grabbing more of these when I can for sure!
