Split the wings at the joint to remove the tips. Then, put chicken in a gallon-sized freezer bag with an entire bottle of Miss Mary’s Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary Mix.
Let marinate overnight (or at least 6 hours).
Spray a baking sheet. Then, remove chicken from marinade and place on baking sheet.
Cook wings at 425° F for 40 minutes or until internal temperature is 165.
While the wings bake, pour marinade into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes (212° F) to kill any bacteria from the chicken.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until sauce thickens. Brush wings with this Bold & Spicy reduction, then return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
Serve with carrot and celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce.
Recipe Note
Not into baked wings? You could grill or smoke the chicken instead. Just make sure you check the temperature of the meat before serving. Chicken should be 165° before consuming.
Try a homemade dipping sauce using avocado, cilantro, lime, green chilis, and sugar-free greek yogurt. Add ingredients plus salt, oregano, and some green pepper Tabasco to a blender until smooth. Mmmm!
