Miss Mary’s Chili Queso Recipe

Veggies, chips, bread, or beefsticks….Dip what you dare!

Who can resist the call of the queso? Not us, that’s for sure.
Queso by itself is bomb, but add chili? That is how we get into food heaven.

You can use chili with beans (Amy’s Black Bean Chili is *chef’s kiss* good) or without (Hormel Turkey Chili? Yesss please!). You can even go for Vegan Chili (Yes, Midwest fam… it’s a thing. Check this one out on Ambitious Kitchen).

However you take this recipe out for a spin, our very own Miss Mary’s BOLD & SPICY Bloody Mary Mix is going to kick up the flavor without burning your buds off. We think you’ll dig it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Chili
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 Cup Miss Mary’s Original or Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
  • Optional Garnish: Fresh parsley, green onions, or avocados.
  • Means to get the queso in the boca: Tortilla chips, french bread, fresh vegies, spoon.

INSTRUCTIONS – Let’s Do This

Combine all ingredients into a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, then quickly reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir sides and bottom of pan often to avoid burning any of this deliciousness.

Pro-tip: Serve this in a crockpot so it stays warm throughout the game.

NOT A FAN OF SO MUCH HEAT?

Love the cheese but not the spice? Just substitute Miss Mary’s Original Mix for the Bold & Spicy and you’ll still get that savory flavor boost.
